| Description: | 2 PT (every other Friday and Saturday overnight & every other Saturday and Sunday 7am-3:30pm) Housing Support Specialist positions available at a program that provides direct services to homeless adults with mental illness, some who have CD issues. Please indicate which position you are interested in. |
| Duties: | The purpose of this position is to help recipients develop basic living and social skills and assistance with advocacy through community intervention. This includes helping the recipient to develop a realistic vision of recovery as well as the skills to manage his/her illness in order to minimize its impact. |
| Qualifications: | To qualify for this position you must have at least 2 years experience in a group home setting/working with people that have mental illness, chemical dependency and homelessness. An Associate�s degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, Chemical Dependency, or other Human Services area is desired. |
