| Description: | PT (every other weekend ASLEEP overnight 11:30 pm - 7:30 am, additional hours may be available) Mental Health Rehab Worker position available at an adult foster care program located in Burnsville. The position requires staff to be available in an as needed capacity. |
| Duties: | This individual will provide direct services to recipients with mental illness some of whom may have CD issues or TBI. This position will focus primarily on monitoring the recipients during the overnight hours, housekeeping tasks as assigned. This person will understand the recipient's goals & crisis plans, communicate with, and support recipients who are awake and unable to sleep. |
| Qualifications: | To be eligible for this position you must be 21 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong interest in human services. You must meet one of the following requirements: 1) have an associates degree in one of the behavioral sciences; 2) is a registered nurse without a bachelor's degree; 3) 2000 hours of supervised paid work experience in the delivery of mental health services to adults with a serious mental illness or traumatic brain injury or 4) is in the final two years of undergraduate school before obtaining a bachelor's degree in behavioral science field. |
