| Description: | PT (16 hours a week minimum with the option to pick up more hours. Shifts will typically be weekends and evenings) Mental Health Practitioner II position available at an adult foster care program in Dakota County. |
| Duties: | This individual will provide support and supervision of clients living in the program within the guidelines of each client's Individual Treatment Plan. This person will also assist the clients with problem solving and concerns, recreational activities and medication management. |
| Qualifications: | Requirements include a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness. Masters degree preferred. All applicants should have a strong interest in human services. Interested parties should possess the ability to document effectively and objectively. Candidates should feel confident in their ability to communicate to stakeholders. The candidate should also be able to use sound judgment to solve practical problems when they may arise. The candidate should have a strengths based perspective and should be someone who understands the importance of rapport building with our consumers. |
